USDA Rural Development Services - RDS
Business Industry Loans - The Business and Industry (B&I) Guaranteed Loan Program helps create jobs and stimulates rural economies by providing financial backing for rural businesses. This program provides guarantees up to 80 percent of a loan made by a commercial lender. Loan proceeds may be used for working capital, machinery and equipment, buildings and real estate, and certain types of debt refinancing. The primary purpose is to create and maintain employment and improve the economic lending capability of private lender in rural areas, helping them make and service equality loans that provide lasting community benefits. This program represents a true private-public partnership.

Farm Service Agency (FSA)
FSA makes guaranteed farm ownership and operating loans to family-size farmers and ranchers. FSA loans can be used to purchase land, livestock, equipment, feed, seed, and supplies. FSA loans can also be used to construct buildings or make farm improvements. FSA guaranteed loans provide conventional agricultural lenders with up to a 95 percent guarantee of the principal loan amount. All loans must meet certain qualifying criteria to be eligible for guarantees.
